Hair buns are created by pulling hair back in a ponytail and then wrapping it around it. In any case, there are various variants.

Teaching materials
Step by step

STEP 1
Create a ponytail and twist it counter-clockwise upon itself.

STEP 2
Place the index and the middle fingers on the base of the ponytail and rotate it clockwise.

STEP 3
Roll it around the base, from right to left (clockwise) while keeping the twisted ponytail close to the base itself.

STEP 4
Rotate the twisted ponytail around the base, from right to left (clockwise).

STEP 5
Keep the ponytail close to the base itself.

STEP 1
Create a low placed ponytail and backcomb it.

STEP 2
Separate the ponytail into three sections. Backcomb them lightly and wrap each section around the tease until it is covered, to completely hide it.

STEP 3
Continue to rotate it on itself until you run out of hair.

STEP 4
Hide the ends under the created “ball” and secure everything with hairpins by inserting them diagonally with respect to the direction of the hair.
